About the role: Our Manufacturing Engineers are crucial to the success of Lexington Manufacturing. This collaborative position is dedicated to ensuring the voice of both the internal and external customers are considered and incorporated into all project solutions. This role involves studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing equipment, while conferring with equipment vendors to define the scope of deliverables and completion dates. This position will report to our Senior Manufacturing Engineer and is in office at our Brainerd, MN location. Job Requirements: Prior manufacturing experience with blueprint reading is required Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field or manufacturing discipline, and/or at least 5 years' experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Understands and has applied LEAN concepts. Able to communicate effectively to gather information from a diverse group and assemble reasonable solutions. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization and customers. Able to use computer systems software including Microsoft Software and Autodesk CAD software.
