To ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained and/or repaired in an orderly and quality fashion to keep the plant operating productively. To perform all electrical and mechanical duties as assigned. Duties/Responsibilities: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns. Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies. Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions. Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required. Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment. Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing. Understand and maintain company safety protocols and policies. Identify workplace hazards, which exist or could develop and correct problems. Perform work to ensure procedures are within safety and governmental compliance. Inform co-workers and employees of precautions and equipment. Accurately record all repairs and maintenance performed in a repairs and maintenance log. Ground and building maintenance as needed.
