Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled Cyber Engineering Lead with a TS/SCI clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Boyers, PA.

The ideal candidate will provide cybersecurity engineering services, which include designing the IT enterprise and systems against cyber threats, upgrading security capabilities of legacy systems, and coordinating security-related activities with various stakeholders. This role involves leading and managing Engineering Services, Cybersecurity Architecture, and Security Automation. The position allows for maximum telework but requires the candidate to live within 50 miles of the work location.

Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing the OPM’s IT enterprise and systems against existing and emerging cyber threats.

  • Developing and upgrading security capabilities of legacy systems.

  • Coordinating security-related activities with information security architects, senior agency information security officers, system owners, common security control providers, and information system security officers.

  • Leading and managing Engineering Services, Cybersecurity Architecture, and Security Automation.

  • Facilitating the integration of security and privacy requirements in the Secure System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to address security and privacy considerations cost-effectively.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.

  • CISSP certification.

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity engineering principles and practices.

  • Ability to design and implement security measures to protect systems against cyber threats.

  • Experience in coordinating security-related activities with various stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage Engineering Services, Cybersecurity Architecture, and Security Automation.

  • Experience working with Secure System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Familiarity with security and privacy considerations in IT systems.

  • TS/SCI Clearance

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
