Insight Global Data Center Land Development Manager 5 in Boydton, Virginia

Job Description

Summary:

The main function of a Data Center Land Development Manager is to coordinate across the internal Land Acquisition, Engineering and Design, Utility, Fiber, Environmental, and Construction Teams and other key parties (both internal and external) to ensure an end-to-end coordinated delivery for datacenter development. The Land Development Manager will be a key player in the strategy development, execution, and site development of our projects.

Job Responsibilities:

The Land Development Manager is part of a team of land use, planning and development experts but works across the greater organization to drive an effective, fast, and efficient development process to eliminate gaps between teams and ensure delivery of datacenter build projects. They will be responsible for driving appropriate cross-team delivery in the review, due diligence, design, and entitlement/permitting phases of projects to allow for the construction and delivery of our critical infrastructure. This will entail establishing the appropriate delivery teams and possessing the commercial and practical experience to take on development challenges across numerous projects and drive effective development practices to achieve business targets. This position will be fully remote and ideally located in Chicagoland or another Midwest city

Skills and Requirements

10 years of land development experience

Project Management

Design/Permitting Experience

3 years minimum direct experience in Land Development or consulting work in Land Development

3 years minimum experience in project management, working on projects engaging directly with municipalities, AHJ's and utility districts to drive appropriate resolutions to development.

5 years minimum direct working experience with the core Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)

5 years of combined working experience in the land development, design, permitting and construction industries

3 years minimum direct experience in Land Development or consulting work in Land Development.

3 years minimum experience in project management, working on projects engaging directly with municipalities, AHJ's and utility districts to drive appropriate resolutions to development.

5 years minimum direct working experience with the core Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) Data Center Experience
