Wood County Hospital Pharmacy Intern in Bowling Green, Ohio

Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Pharmacy Intern. The Pharmacy Student provides personal care and professional excellence by assisting the pharmacist in special duties within the pharmacy. This is a paid position.

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrates accurate knowledge of the Pharmacy laws, rules and regulations commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.

  • Demonstrates accurate knowledge of professional pharmacy theory and practice with the ability to apply appropriate techniques under the supervision of a pharmacist as permitted by law.

  • Proficient on pharmaceutical terms, mathematics, weights, measures, symbols and use of equipment commensurate with duties.

  • Receives, checks and accurately stores all incoming drugs and other supplies as directed by the pharmacist.

  • Performs proper technical pharmaceutical procedures such as packaging, pre-packing, labeling and storing drugs with the proper facilities and under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Shift Details:

Hours: 16 hours per week

Shift: Variable day and evening hours, rotating weekend coverage
