Adecco Permanent Placement has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Bowling Green, KY area to find an Engineering Technician (Automation).

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, debugging, and troubleshooting of robotic systems and PLC programs, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain industrial automation processes and equipment.

• Evaluate and generate reports on machinery to identify and implement process improvements

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation, robotic systems, PLC's, etc...

• Develop technical documents, including standard operating procedures.

• Actively seek and implement process and quality enhancements

• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Associates or technical degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar field.

• 3+ years of industrial automation experience required, 5+ years preferred.

• Expertise in maintaining and operating robotic systems

• Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting
