Western Kentucky University (WKU), Housing and Residence Life, is seeking applicants for Coordinator, Accounting. This position reports to the Assistant Director and is responsible for various record keeping and accounting duties for the WKU Housing department and the WKU Student Life Foundation (SLF).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Record keeper for 15 departmental procurement cards. This includes reconciling and balancing procurement card transactions in the Payment Net software.

  • Process purchase order for SLF.

  • Process SLF accounts payable invoices.

  • Enter requisitions in TopShop for the housing department.

  • Month end reconciliation of accounts payable

  • Process monthly checks to vendors.

  • Process and track damage billing.

  • Process summer camps and conference billing.

  • Scan accounts payable invoices for electronic storage.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field

  • Minimum of three years' experience in an office setting.

    Additional Information:

Salary: $18.97-$20.52/hr
