Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling & Stamping CMM Operator in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a CMM Programmer in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Hot Stamp Facility. The CMM Programmer is responsible for the Operation of CMM to perform measurement, inspection and testing of our production materials and components. The ideal candidate will have prior CMM experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict control over Mathcad files, dimension layouts and gauge studies
- Key participation in APQP meetings
- Responsible for fixture design reviews, launch, monitor timing and internal and external approvals as per customers standards and GD&T
- Develop gauge plans, instructions, and training to the team
- Perform GR&R studies and report status action plans when required for improvements
- Ensure all measuring equipment used in the quality control process is in working condition and calibrated, including repairs
- Key personnel for SPC monitoring, process improvements and customer communication
- Responsible for hot stamp testing, monitoring and corrective action on manufacturing of products
- Maintains all CMM inspection reports and summaries for all jobs, manufacturing, and tool builds
Minimum Qualifications:
- ASQ certification and/or associates degree in related field
- Ability to lift to 20kg
- Ability to construct programs for native CMM
- Ability to retain information and communicate effectively
- Ability to work all shifts (days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 years' experience in automotive manufacturing
- 1-2 years' experience in quality sciences
