Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Budget Manager in the education industry, specifically in a university setting. The role will be based in Bowie, Maryland, United States. This position will require you to manage and oversee budget processes, utilize accounting software systems, and work with financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the university's budget processes, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for budget management and financial reporting.

• Work closely with ADP - Financial Services for payroll management and other financial services.

• Develop and manage the annual budget, taking into consideration expenditure and expense reporting.

• Use Banner Ads for promoting the university's financial transparency and budget allocation.

• Manage capital expenditures (CapEx) and ensure they are within the budget.

• Perform accounting functions, including but not limited to, managing accounts receivable and payable, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Implement and maintain effective budget processes to enhance financial decision-making.

• Collaborate with different departments to understand their budgeting needs and provide appropriate financial advice and solutions.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all budgeting activities. Requirements • Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Experience with Banner Ads is a plus.

• Proficiency in CapEx management is required.

• Strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.

• Solid experience in performing Accounting Functions.

• Proven track record in managing Annual Budget.

• Extensive knowledge of Budget Processes is essential.

• Experience in managing Expenditure in a large organization.

• Expertise in Expense Reporting is crucial.
