Job Description

A large government contractor is looking to build out a new infrastructure team and bring on 2 System Engineers! The mission of this program is working on a ground infrastructure team building satellites for missel defense from infancy to launching. This role will require a minimum secret clearance but can hold higher. The SE will help with technical planning of system architecture, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. The end client is looking for individuals with high level system integration and detailed design experience of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications. The team is looking for hands-on individuals who are self-starters and looking for a role with collaboration, autonomy, and work-life balance. This program is not up for rebid until 2028 providing job security and a long-term position where individuals get to work with multiple product teams and get their hands dirty in many different tools & technologies. All work will be performed onsite in Longmont/Boulder, CO running off of 4 x 10 schedules. The team is performing 1 and done interviews and looking to bring people on immediately -- apply today!

Integral part of an Agile Scrum team; responsible for contributing to SRR, PDR, CDR product development; looked upon as a ground segment subject matter expert and expected to contribute as such. Shall have satellite domain experience, knowledge in ground architecture, spacecraft design, and ground services subsystems, etc. In addition, experience in the full product lifecycle, where requirements turn into a tangible deliverable product.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience with Systems architecture development

Satellite ground segment experience

On-console space/ground operations experience

Minimum Secret Clearance (and ability to obtain TS/SCI preffered) OPIR Ground Experience

SBIRS Program Experience

Pay Range: $50-90/hour null
