Job Description

An employer based in Boulder, CO is looking for a Juniper Network Engineer to join their growing Government Services organization. This person will be working closely with a talented team to assist in the design, configuration, testing, implementation and oversight of the computer networks (primarily Juniper) that support their customers mission critical systems. They will be responsible for developing network designs and perform comprehensive analysis by leveraging experience with medium to large WAN networks, and performing system engineering design, integration, and implementation in a development production and operational environment.

This is a small, federal contracting company based in Boulder, CO. This person will be expected to be on site 4-5 days a week with the ability for some remote flexibility. This is a permanent, full time role and is posted at $120,000-$170,000/year based on experience level and technical aptitude.

Skills and Requirements

DoD Secret Clearance at minimum

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred

Network Certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCP, etc) or equivalent industry certification

Proficiency in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Juniper networking devices, including routers, switches and firewalls

Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs and routing protocols Juniper Networks Certification (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE) null
