The Department of Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering (ECEE) Quantum Lab welcomes applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop new superconducting quantum electrical circuits. Both theory and experimental projects are available. The Postdoctoral Researcher will support ongoing efforts to develop next-generation superconducting electrical circuits, participate in cutting-edge research projects in quantum electronics, contribute to mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and publish the results in peer-reviewed journals.

Who We Are
We are the Gyenis Lab at CU Boulder, a research lab focusing on developing new types of hybrid superconducting and semiconducting qubits with the goal to enhance the lifetime of these artificial atoms. Our projects are at the intersection of quantum material science and quantum information science. We are looking for talented and motivated graduate and undergraduate students to join our team.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The Postdoctoral Researcher will support ongoing efforts to develop next-generation superconducting electrical circuits, participate in cutting-edge research projects in quantum electronics, contribute to mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and publish the results in peer-reviewed journals.
What We Can Offer
The salary range for this position is $55,597 to $66,851 per year.

What We Require
- PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
What You Will Need
Experience in quantum physics, circuit quantization, and numerical methods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
