Outside is seeking a team-oriented temporary digital media planner on the Ad Marketing + Sales Strategy team. We craft integrated campaigns including print, digital, events, marketing services, licensing, custom content, video, and more. The temporary Digital Media Planner will participate in the ideation of client campaigns, maintain and monitor inventory and digital avails, and deliver accurate and effective media plans. The Media Planner will report to the Senior Media Planner.

The ideal candidate surfs between chaos and precision. You can brainstorm with the team and then deliver highly detailed plans that support the client's KPIs while maximizing margin and optimizing performance. Your passions are digital media, consumer programs, and you are passionate about an active and healthy lifestyle. Most importantly, you have experience working towards client KPI's and crafting dynamic media plans for a broad range of clients.

The Position

The temporary Media Planner will join the Media Planning team at Outside Inc. They will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and delivering accurate and effective digital media plans, and completing accompanying agency/media templates. They will be expected to participate in brainstorming sessions, responsible for monitoring avails and inventory and complete detailed agency templates. The ideal candidate must be able to manage day-to-day deadlines, work within inventory management systems, and have a high level of attention to detail.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Develop and manage digital media plans

  • Responsible for reserving and/or booking campaign products across a variety of platforms

  • Responsible for managing agency templates, product specs, and reporting standards.

  • Collaborate closely with Media Planning and Creative Strategy teams

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital media planning/buying position, this is required

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with campaign management and ad serving technology: FatTail/AdBook, DoubleClick/Google Ad Manager, Innovid, Prisma, Google Analytics. Salesforce experience a plus, but not required.

  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and/or Google Suite

  • Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus

  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction

  • Deadline oriented – advanced delivery of plans is a must

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Strong written, verbal communication skills. Good presentation skills a plus

  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes

This is a temporary non-exempt hourly role from Outside Interactive, Inc. Terms of temporary contract assignment will be starting in July, 2024 through end of October, 2024.

Colorado Jobs: Employees can expect to be paid an hourly rate between $28 to $36. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
