Job Description

Two managers in the applications organization at this large local utility client are seeking a skilled IT project manager to join their project teams. One team is working to build in house databases within SQL and are seeking someone who has led fairly large and complex projects and understands shared SQL severs vs database platform environments (utilizing standard Microsoft BI tools). The other team is seeking a PM who can manage their developers working to implement leak management functionality within an SAP system. Both projects are already past the planning phase but having a background managing multiple projects at one time will be key for success in this role. Mid to senior level experience, a background in utilities, SAP systems, or AWS cloud environments is preferred but not required. Overall they are seeking a strong PM with at least five years of experience leading IT software projects, doing requirements validation and understanding the backend work required to be successful.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years' experience as an IT project manager leading multiple IT software projects

Standard Microsoft BI tools

SQL Server

Experience managing project portfolios with revenue of $1 million Strong communications skills and ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders on a frequent basis

Experience leading a development team Background in utilities

Experience within SAP

Experience working in AWS cloud environments null
