Our client is a Private Equity firm in Boston and they are looking to bring onboard a Tax Business Transformation Lead. This is a hybrid role, onsite 3 times a week.

The Business Transformation Lead is a new position designed to bring about change and innovation within the tax function, reporting to the Director of Taxation. The ideal candidate will be analytical, communicative, proactive, adaptable, curious, organized, and meticulous.

The core responsibilities will include enhancing business processes, integrating new tech solutions, establishing comprehensive data governance practices, and spearheading specific transformation projects. It will also involve being part of firm-wide technological initiatives, collaborating with other departments, training the tax team on new systems, and ensuring a smooth transition to new technologies and enhanced procedures.

Requirements

The success in this role greatly depends on your proven history in business process improvements and technological solution implementation, excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of investment managers' operations, proficiency in project management and expertise with BI tools. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related fields is preferred, alongside 8-10 years of experience in the investment management industry, focused on business process improvement and transformation. Certifications such as CPA or PMP will be a definite advantage.
