Would you like to help Small and Medium Business (SMB) companies accelerate and maximize their success using the cloud? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Sr. Manager, SMB Partner Led Selling to help transform the AWS go to market (GTM) strategy with partners. As a leader on the AWS Partner GTM Segments team, you will have the opportunity to dramatically accelerate adoption of AWS by guiding our partners and internal teams in their SMB solutions development and go to market strategies.

As the single threaded leader for the Small Business subsegment, you will ensure AWS meets our global revenue and customer wins goals through a new indirect sales model driven by our channel partners. This is a new function you will build through close collaboration with executive leadership across Partner, Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations organizations. You will manage a small team of business developers who build and manage mechanisms, programs, and best practices that will enable the Sales and Partner field to deliver SMB Small customer acquisition and revenue growth at scale.

You must have experience influencing at the executive level to create, manage, and grow new business functions. You should have experience and comfort with sales processes including quota attainment and forecasting, and pipeline management. You will have a proven record of leading and driving multiple solutions-led programs to meet business objectives, excellent program management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, data and metrics bias, and a passion for helping companies get started using cloud to achieve business goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Own AWS SMB Small Program P&L

• Collaborate with worldwide leaders in a matrixed organization to identify joint goals around new business opportunities

• Experiment and introduce new approaches to drive incremental SMB Small growth through Partners which are scalable across all AWS regions

• Manage SMB Small Partner economics, incentives, and to optimize profitable growth

• Drive for technical innovation to support Partners in serving SMB Small customers and improve operational excellence and productivity

• Build and manage Partner capacity and capability models specific to SMB Small including new solution prioritization

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent

  • Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
