Within SMGS, the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customers’ most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams comprise Specialists with deep technology chops and future-leaning industry expertise. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities

  • Orchestrate go-to-market (GTM) sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of Analytics-based HCLS solutions.

  • Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategy.

  • Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.

  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, and symposia.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7 years relevant GTM, consulting, or tech

  • 5+ years relevant scientific domain experience in a healthcare, life sciences, academic, or related role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology, physics, statistics, or computer science

Preferred Qualifications

- - MS, MD, Ph.D., or equivalent experience (10+ years) in a Biopharma or Healthcare company

- - Commercial, Clinical Trials, Manufacturing experience highly valued

- - Experience in BD, consulting, sales, or alliances in the Healthcare & Life Sciences

- - Communications (written, verbal) skills, including experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and internal / external executive stakeholders

- - Established track record of credibility advising customer executives (e.g. CxOs and VPs) and LoB Leaders

- - Experience developing, implementing, managing, and executing GTM growth initiatives and sales motions

- - Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
