<p>The Global Supplier technology team is responsible for building the scalable platforms for the supplier ecosystem in Wayfair. It starts with establishment of supplier entities, their catalog journey, advertisement, pricing &amp; order management. This platform provides all necessary accelerants for supplier business growth like supplier ads, business insights &amp; recommendations. We build scalable platforms to meet the demands of customers and suppliers alike.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Responsible for designing and being hands-on in building applications that are reliable, scalable and easy to maintain&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ensure the quality of engineering direction across multiple teams within the organization</li>

<li>Contribute to architectural and code review discussions that impact our engineering ecosystem</li>

<li>Define standards to raise the bar of the teams you’ll be working with ‘Collaborate with leads and engineers across multiple teams to solve a wide variety of business and technical problems&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ensure our systems are properly documented&nbsp;</li>

<li>Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering organization</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>We’re A Match Because You Have:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience&nbsp;</li>

<li>A passion for collaborating with cross-functional partners</li>

<li>3+ years of software development experience is preferred</li>

<li>Experience with full stack and/or mobile development&nbsp;</li>

<li>Familiarity with creating software tools and functionality, debugging code, and successfully incorporating feedback into your work&nbsp;</li>

<li>Knowledge and experience working with object oriented programming languages&nbsp;</li>

<li>Great skills in solving complex problems with simple abstract solutions&nbsp;</li>

<li>Experience or exposure to SQL, Java, and Python&nbsp;</li>

<li>Interest in working with big data and machine learning&nbsp;</li>

<li>Experience with using cloud platforms to solve problems&nbsp;</li>
