As a Senior CyberArk Security Engineer, you will be the mastermind behind the fortress, designing and implementing robust privileged access management strategies to providing expert guidance and support. Roles and responsibilities

  • Oversee the Privileged Access Management development team and services including privileged IDs for employee and partner accounts acting as escalation point as required.

  • Work with teams to integrate various application with CyberArk for password management via CCP, CP or REST/API.

  • Will work closely with BU leads globally to deliver a seamless CyberArk solution. Such as Configuration of CyberArk’s EPV, CPM, and PVWA components following defined policies and standards.

  • Work to troubleshoot endpoint issues (CyberArk connectivity, password rotation, vault management, patching and infrastructure support) and resolve or determine group needed to assist.

  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert within the CyberArk environment.

  • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and direction of Privileged Access across the enterprise.

  • Research PAM tool sets and products in the marketplace and determine suitability for Manulife’s environment.

  • Oversee the governance structure of PAM program providing regular progress reports and updates to senior management.

  • Promote Privileged Access control best practices across the organization through oversight of education and awareness programs.

  • Coach, motivate, develop, and evaluate performance of direct reports and provide guidance and mentoring in the resolution of complex issues.

Experience and qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Information Security and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of formal training, industry / technical certifications and work experience along with a degree in a related field of study is acceptable.

  • 5+ years of experience in the areas of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and cybersecurity risk management.

  • Strong background in CyberArk administration, including Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), EPV, PSM, PVWA, CPM.

  • Highly detail-oriented individual with exceptional organization skills, including ability to work independently or as part of multiple teams.

  • Ability to document processes and workflows.

  • Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to key stakeholders required.

  • A minimum of 1 information security certification is an asset e.g., CyberArk Defender, CyberArk Sentry, CISSP, CIAM, CISM, SANS.

  • Advanced knowledge of security systems, access controls, network security, security platform administration, security incident response, security architecture, risk management and security governance framework.

  • Advanced soft skills – communication (oral and written), influence, negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship management.

  • Advanced level of critical thinking, sound judgement and solving skills.

  • Strong strategic enterprise-wide vision and planning skills.

  • Ability to effectively lead change management initiatives.

  • Strong conceptual skills: ability to deal with ambiguity; creativity; lateral thinker.

  • Strong service management and service delivery orientation.

  • Ability to present complex information in a manner suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Strong team orientation and building skills, and ability to foster a collaborative environment.

​Must have

  • Hands-on developer skills (Scripting, REST/API and PowerShell).

  • Hands-on experience CyberArk application integration CCP, CP and REST/API.

  • Hands-on experience in building customized connectors (CPM, PVWA, PSM).

  • Hands-on experience implementing CyberArk, upgrades, and migration.

  • Experience working with different platforms such as Wintel, Unix/Linux, Databases.

  • Experience working in Cloud environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience in systems like SAML, LDAP, Active Directory, SailPoint.

  • Experience in the use of CyberArk PACLI to automate tasks related to user and safe management.

  • Experience in workflow automation.

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience working in Cloud environments.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD
