Commonwealth Care Alliance Marketing Data Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
Why This Role is Important to Us:
We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Marketing Data Manager to join our Marketing Department. This new role will be integral to the success of our health plan's marketing initiatives.
As a Marketing Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing marketing data to drive decision making and optimize marketing strategies. You will work closely with other members of the marketing team to understand their data needs, develop reports, and provide insights that will shape our marketing efforts.
Finally, you will synthesize all the data from disparate sources to reach conclusions and drive actions. Develop the narrative between marketing spend, activity and results against KPI's, including pipeline attribution and ROI.

What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with marketing team to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Collect and analyze data from various GTM systems such as Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, Email/SMS Distribution Platform, Meta Business Suite, Print Production
Execute top-to-bottom analysis of the Marketing Funnel, Pipeline Generation, Lead Productivity, Attribution, and Campaign ROI
Evaluate effectiveness and profitability of campaigns and promotions and suggest methods to strengthen pipeline generation velocity.
Examine statistical data to forecast future trends, project market potential, and develop marketing strategies.
Analyze GTM technology stack for optimization, adoption, and ROI
Provide market intelligence and statistics to internal partners aligned with business objectives to develop actionable recommendations and forecasting models.
Prepare and present reports on marketing metrics to senior management.
Maintain a current knowledge of emerging tools and techniques in machine learning, natural language processing, database systems, visualization, statistical modeling, data extraction/manipulation and so on
Document data outcomes across different plan to ensure planners have an expectation of available universe sizes by plan
Develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure marketing data quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data classification and access controls based on organizational and regulatory requirements.
Manage the data vendor relationships related to the various applications data sets including - Suppression files and members files need for data processing work- Creating data processing directions for all direct mail programs
Working Conditions:
Standard office conditions.
This position can be remote with the option to work on-site in the Boston office location.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science or related field
Desired Education:
- Master's degree in analytics, data science or related field
Required Experience:
3+ years in a highly analytical role
2+ years in marketing/business operations
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Technical skills:
Understanding of SaaS platforms such as Marketing Automation (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua), Sales Engagement (Salesforce, Salesloft, Xant), Digital (Google Analytics, Pathfactory), and Attribution (Full Circle Insights)
Expertise with relational databases and SQL
Expertise with data visualization and tools
Microsoft Excel (power user)
Experience with applied statistics.
Strong analytical mindset
Willingness to learn innovative technologies.
Experience with cloud data warehouses and cloud provider services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
Ability to develop competence in any programming, tool, or technology, that a problem requires

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare or health insurance organization.
Experience using Power BI, Tableau, and LookerStudio
Experience building data pipelines in the cloud under the constraints of HIPAA
Experience and understanding of machine learning modeling techniques and algorithms.
