Trustmark Document Output Design Analyst / Coordinator in Boston, Massachusetts

Works on a day-to-day basis with the document systems and processes, ensuring our insurance contracts/documents meet business needs and are in compliance with state regulations. Follows set standards in design and development while still providing recommendations for upgrades based on changing industry norms. The role collaborates with other departments, external third parties and IT, based on capability needs, business requirements or changing business needs.

  • Executes the VBS customer document output strategy (print & electronic)

  • Based on the strategy collaborates with other departments to increase the customer experience as measured against industry norms

  • Follows the technology roadmap of the capability and identifies unit cost attributes for processes while identifying enhancements to increase effectiveness.

  • Leads other to follow processes associated with the method of delivery (print / electronic) media.

  • Follows established processes and procedures in the standardization and reformation of current documents (i.e., contracts, amendments, letters, etc.) in all document systems. Recommends changes / updates based on best practices, new industry trends or enhanced capabilities.

  • Interacts with Vendors, reviewing processes and performance standards as well as delivering new capabilities.

  • Collaborates with various departments in identifying and implementing capability changes based on changing industry norms or business needs.

  • Collaborates with other departments on delivery of specific deliverables and helps balance business needs.

  • Analysis of business requirements, complete technical and functional document design and test plans for documents (contracts, amendments, letters, etc.).

  • Follows document standards and designs in delivering business need and meeting retention guidelines

  • Analyze document purpose, construction, organization and variable features. Review existing document to ascertain whether it requires a new document template. Provide recommendations on standard changes based on new business needs.

  • Performs document variable text portion analysis. Determine repeating elements in document, whether text or data. Decide which attribute set and data source best fit document.

  • Development of document in the system and perform unit testing.

  • Approval of the content and text pieces in test for migration to production. Coordinate with IT (development and testing ) on data requirements, needs, and timing.

  • Collaborates with Marketing, Compliance, Customer facing areas and others to develop and design effective and efficient documents based on timelines. Collaborates with IT on technical features of document data requirements and document set-up.

  • Participation on project teams as a SME for the Customer Output Team

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BA or BS degree

  • 2 - 4 years prior experience working with complex documents, designing and developing across different document software tools

  • Advanced Microsoft skills

  • Analytical skills required in the setup and development of complex documents (product contracts)

  • Must possess strong drive for results demonstrating resilience against obstacles and challenge while remaining calm under pressure.

  • Technical background using criteria and variability

PREFERRED

  • Prior experience with mainframe is a plus.

  • Prior experience using the complete xPression suite for document creation

  • Experience working with vendors on outsourced processes

  • Experience in development of appropriate business performance metrics.

  • 2-4 years of experience with production level document systems
