Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts. As part of our team, you will be the primary IT support for our office, and your role will extend to providing remote support to other locations as necessary. You will be immersed in a dynamic work environment where you will be tasked with managing various technical issues, collaborating with IT support across all our offices, and maintaining efficient communication with staff regarding IT issues and updates.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary IT support, addressing a range of technical issues from hardware and software troubleshooting to network support.

• Manage Audio Visual support, ensuring all AV equipment is functioning properly.

• Collaborate with IT support in other locations, ensuring consistent and reliable IT service across all offices.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and Cisco VPN.

• Assist with the imaging of machines and shipping to new hires.

• Adapt to a range of potential issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills and initiative.

• Resolve a variety of technical issues, such as locating missing documents or troubleshooting monitor malfunctions.

• Provide IT User Requests and Video Conferencing Support – Zoom, Teams.

• Handle swapping computers, adding a second or third monitor.

• Maintain communication with staff regarding IT issues and updates. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar

• Demonstrated skills in Computer Hardware

• Proven experience in Desktop Support

• Proficiency in Remote Desktop Support

• Familiarity with Windows 11 operating system

• Experience with MS Office 365

• Knowledge of virtual communication tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams

• Background in Audio Visual support

• Experience with Cisco VPN

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently as required

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Relevant certifications or degree in IT or related field would be advantageous Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
