Living Proof is seeking a Brand Manager. This position is responsible for working with the team on new product development and product launch processes, packaging development, concept & claims development, consumer testing, messaging strategy, promotional strategy, pricing strategy, launch forecasting, performance and analytics.

Responsibilities:

New Product& Campaign Development:

  • Complete new product development briefs to drive the development of new SKUs within our product portfolio, including overall market and competitive analysis, positioning, benchmark review and recommendation, sizing, pricing and packaging format.

  • Lead the creation of concept, ingredient storytelling & claims development to support differentiated, competitive and on-brand messaging.

  • Within the team, work with Project Manager to ensure that all key deliverables are met in the development of new product launches & campaigns.

  • Develop holistic copy needs for all teams, to support on-pack, digital, and in-store copy that aligns to the product positioning, messaging and claims strategy.

  • Recommend new product ideas & campaign strategies to support the creation of holistic marketing calendar & strategy.

  • Manage monthly updates & issuance of holistic marketing calendar.

Marketing Plan:

Consumer and Market Research

  • Manage all consumer related research on product line including: defining screener, preparing questionnaires, finalizing usage instructions, and managing all logistics such as labeling and shipping product. Analyze data and report findings to team. Other research includes tracking online consumer reviews and distilling relevant market data from resources like Mintel into presentations.

  • Report monthly on industry performance using Circana, and internal performance using sell through data & internal sales goals.

Presentations

  • Maintain & present marketing plan, data & initiatives for marketing and sales decks both internally and in retailer meetings.

Asset Creation

  • Work directly with Creative, Digital Marketing & Social Media teams to develop a holistic asset strategy from ideation to execution to final review & approval.

Retail, Education & Training

  • Help determine sampling plans and execute packaging and artwork in partnership with Retail Marketing & Supply Chain.

  • Work with Retail Marketing, Education and Sales Teams to make sure they have necessary resources to hold in-store events such as education materials, posters, samples, and gift bags.

Artwork Management

  • Partnering with packaging engineers and creative designers to brief artwork development including all copy related to performance, claims, and usage.

  • Collaborate with R&D and Regulatory to ensure all copy is globally compliant.

  • Confirm all artwork is translate into required languages.

  • Manage and review artwork submissions, proofs and approval process within Living Proof.

Customer Service

  • Work with Customer Service to develop & answer all FAQs and conduct trainings on new products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred

  • Mandatory: 5 - 7 years CPG experience

  • Strong strategic thinker

  • Results oriented executor

  • Strong project management skills – possess the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at once

  • A collaborator capable of establishing good personal relationships

  • An independent operator capable of managing projects with limited directions

  • Proven track record of launching creatively innovative products and consumer experiences

  • Creative thinker with track record of being able to translate insights and product features into strong consumer facing communication

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to track details while keeping focused on the big picture

  • Responsible and extremely resourceful in finding answers and solutions when information and data is not readily available

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience
