Industrial Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Pay Rate - $35/hr.+ ($1.50/hr. Shift Differential)

Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production equipment and plant facility in a conscientious and reliable manner, consistent with Company standards. The responsibilities include managing activities for the safety, integrity, legality, and quality of our food products. This role performs preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredient handling systems, and plumbing systems, as well as office and plant facilities.

• Starting and testing machines and equipment

• Recording preventative maintenance tasks and work orders

• Troubleshooting various plant areas

• Using pneumatics, air compressors, air dryer operation, small tools, grinders, and welding equipment

• Completing work orders and responding to maintenance calls

• Inventorying spare parts and suggesting re-orders

• Basic repairs within office facility

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling production equipment

• Performing sanitary welding

• Installing and maintaining electrical equipment/controls, circuits, and PLC

• Troubleshooting and rebuilding machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, and valve actuators

• Participation in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs

• Safe handling and use of various chemicals

• Following safety procedures and participating in safety training

• Supporting product safety, quality, and legality
