RPM STAFFING PROFESSIONALS INC 2nd Shift Lead - Bonham, Tx in Bonham, Texas
Shift: Mon-Thur 3:30pm-2am (Some overtime may be required on Friday)
Pay: 60k-70k Salary DOE
Responsibilities:Oversees and manages all aspects of assigned area that include but are not limited to:
- Ensure a safe working environment while abiding and enforcing Safety Policies.
- Ensure a proactive approach is taken in terms of planning for production. (e.g. additional resources, controland manage overtime, capacity, and headcount)
- Accept responsibility for ensuring that capacity is managed efficiently, and key performance indicators are part of the employees process measurements and performance evaluation.
- Manage, train, and educate direct reports in order that the requirements of job performance, organizational efficiency, and people development are achieved.
- Making sure sampling processes and other quality checks are completed and recorded.
- Ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed as required.
- Effectively managing all Process activity using a high degree of initiative and judgment in analyzing problems and directing teams in appropriate application of corrective actions.
- Execute Build Plans to ensure optimization of production so that the products are delivered exceeding customer quality expectation and in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Planning for and accomplishing manufacturing growth as dictated by the growth of our customers.
- Ensure daily conversations are being done with team leaders to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
- Establishing goals, performance targets and performance standards for the production functions. Measure the production function on achievement of goals, performance targets and performance standards.
- Interacting with local Leadership teams to resolve implementation problems and supply issues.
- Sharing knowledge and experience gained with other parts of the business.
- Work with other supervisors and support staff on problem analysis, solution simulations and implementation of improvements.
- Develop processes and methods for creating and maintaining an organized, clean, high performance focused factory. Able to implement 5S and continuous improvement to maintain the department.
- Carry out any other duties as and when required.
