Hussmann Corporation Sr. Financial Analyst - Process Improvement in Bolingbrook, Illinois

Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst focused on Process Improvement, your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities for managing, centralizing, and standardizing month-end processes across all Branch Operations Districts by leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system. You will collaborate closely with Business and Corporate Finance teams, IT professionals, and System Implementation leads to deliver solutions aimed at facilitating informed decision-making. Additionally, you will work closely with senior management and district teams to identify transactional process gaps, assess their fiscal impact, and implement system and training solutions to mitigate these gaps.

Responsibilities

P rocess Optimization

  • Lead efforts to optimize month-end processes across all Branch Operations Districts. Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and propose solutions for streamlining and standardizing these processes using the D365 system.

Collaboration

  • Partner with Business and Corporate Finance teams, IT professionals, and System Implementation leads to develop and implement process improvement initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between financial objectives and system capabilities.

Solution Development

  • Develop system-based solutions to address identified process gaps and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with IT professionals and System Implementation leads to configure and customize the D365 system to meet the organization's specific needs.

Training and Implementation

  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure effective utilization of system capabilities and adherence to standardized processes. Support the implementation of system enhancements and process improvements across all Branch Operations Districts.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and system enhancements. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure the impact of process changes on operational efficiency and financial performance.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate regularly with senior management, district teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide updates on process improvement initiatives and their impact on financial performance. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of Business experience required.

Skills

  • Strong working relationship & Open communication with Operations, Finance & IT.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365(D365) or similar ERP systems preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.

  • Willingness to learn new technology and participate in technical discussions with IT or outside consultants.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization.

  • Experience in delivering training programs and facilitating change management initiatives preferred.
