JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of Studio is responsible for the daily operations of the Studio and all activities geared toward profitability and efficiency. Manages employee staffing, audits files, generates reports, and works with trade partners to maintain accurate product information. Works with internal departments on current floor plans, spec level information and knowledge of builder included items. Additionally, the Manager of Studio works closely with Corporate Studio on current promotions and incentives for both buyers and studio employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management

  • In accordance with corporate and/or division policies, designs and implements procedures which enhance performance at assigned studio.

  • Drives Studio sales process to meet VC and operating margin goals

  • Conducts interviews and provides hiring recommendations

  • Evaluates employee performance, provides feedback, ensures completion of training

  • Creates a positive, motivating and challenging work environment to promote sales performances.

  • Builds strong relationships with internal departments such as: Sales, Purchasing, Construction, Customer Service, Marketing, Daily Units Processing and Mortgage.

100% customer satisfaction

  • Reinforces CSI and JDP standards with studio consultants, and provides results to senior leadership.

  • Resolves elevated and/or challenging customer service related issues in a timely manner.

  • Makes sure all prospects and existing customers are called on a regular basis.

Works with sales, marketing, operations and studio employees to ensure all options are correctly reflected in the system and assist with VC improvements. (Includes pricing and availability per plan)

  • Audits KB Home's customized database for accurate information on all product offerings

  • Audits current plans in the various systems for accuracy and availability

  • Communicates discrepancies to appropriate departments

  • Routinely shops the competition for pricing information

Prepares and submits daily reports to provide upper management

  • Number of daily browse and final appointments

  • VC data on all options sold

  • Other reports as requested

Manage rollout meetings and related process changes with Studio Consultants and/or vendors

  • Lead rollout meetings

  • Provide product information to the rest of the Studio team

  • Provide implementation strategies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Four Year College degree preferred

  • Prior experience managing direct reports preferred

  • Home building or related industry preferred

  • Strong experience in delivering high quality customer service programs.

  • Understands market and industry trends

  • Demonstrated management capabilities including personnel selection, employee development and training

  • Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships

  • Action oriented, with the drive to push sales to successful closure

  • Proven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer's perspective

  • Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively

  • Proven ability to lead and execute effective training sessions or conduct strong oral presentations

  • Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate

  • Makes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Work 8-hour days with flexibility for additional work hours when necessary

  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company

  • Position is located on-site at 1299 N. Orchard St. Suite 201, Boise, ID 83706 #LI-onsite
