Robert Half International Staff Accountant in BOISE, Idaho

Staff Accountant candidates will be interested in Robert Half Finance's full-time opportunity with an innovative company. This Staff Accountant position is for candidates who can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. If you can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes, you will succeed in this role. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity in the Boise, Idaho area, at a company where effort is rewarded. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a talent for creating Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. How you will make an impact - Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested - Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation - Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries - Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations - Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls under SOX while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP - Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation - Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease - Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable - Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll - Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation - Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision Candidates must have: -Bachelor's Degree -3 to 5 years experience - Knowledge of ERP software, Great Plains preferred
