Our Opportunity Summary:

As the Senior Manager of the Portfolio Management Team, you will be part of the Digital Supply Chain team and responsible for establishing and managing a structured centralized Portfolio management office for Global Supply Chain (GSC)! You will be responsible for managing and driving Supply Chain initiatives as well as provide oversight and mentorship to Supply Chain program managers and business process analysts.

You will work closely with the GSC leaders to achieve specific business metrics, goals and objectives while ensuring balance in allocation of resources. While not all projects will be systems related, it should be noted that this role has a particularly high focus on deploying and improving software in support of the Global Supply Chain’s digital strategy, and strong candidates will have experience in software implementation projects!

  • Establish strong program governance methods to ensure project prioritization and sequencing is ratified through a formal senior leadership review process

  • Ensure scope, budgets and schedules are accurately managed across multiple workstreams

  • Lead executive sponsor, core team and customer review sessions and project status updates

  • Implementation of processes, workflow and tools to meet GSC program management needs

  • Provide regular roadmap progress update on key initiatives and dependencies

  • Cross departmental identification and management of program/project dependencies and key priorities of other organizations which may have an impact on SC processes/projects

  • Ability to partner closely with IT to ensure smooth delivery of software and technology projects

  • Provide a change management framework through both program management and business process teams to ensure the human side of change is well managed

  • Ensure the business processes within GSC are managed in accordance with all requirements included with Micron’s Global Quality Business Process Management Standard.

  • Coordinate and support internal and external ISO/IATF audits of GSC business processes globally.

  • Facilitate effective problem-solving efforts as customer/operational events arise related to GSC (8Ds).

How To Qualify:

  • Minimum 10 years in software program and project delivery, with a focus on ERP and Supply Chain systems

  • Deep understanding of supply chain BKMs, tools and systems

  • Understanding of program management methodologies (waterfall and Agile) as well as IT development lifecycles; PMP Certification preferred

  • Experienced with ERP and supply chain planning systems

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and facilitation skills - works effectively with cross functional teams. Builds positive relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence

  • Strong communications skills with an ability to relate to all levels within the organization, from executive, business process sponsors, function owners, team members, and subject matter experts

  • Innovative – Drives business intelligence work by looking at ways to be innovative with what we do and how we work.

  • Tenacious – continues to be persistent in driving business intelligence and driving business value

  • Comfortable in taking care of ambiguity.

  • Ability and willingness to travel, both domestic and international, as needed to support job scope .

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or MIS or Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering

What Sets You Apart:

  • Desired - Master’s Degree in above or related fields

  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management, Program Management (PMP) and Change Management (PROSCI) highly desirable
