As an AI Strategy Leader for Finance Business Functions at Micron Technology, Inc., you will enable new frontier technology for business functions by defining, driving and delivering end to end AI, GenAI, advanced analytics solutions integrated in the flow of the work. The team will look into applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to improve Micron’s efficiency and effectiveness in the business functions.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Partner with HR to drive AI transformation in Micron, enabling new and innovative solutions. Conceptualize, Prototype and productize innovative solutions using artificial intelligence, Generative AI, big data to improve and revolutionize Micron business functions.

  • Collaborate closely with HR leaders and broad end users to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities. Leverage deep domain knowledge of both the data and the process side for the business functions to design and implement effective AI and Gen AI solutions.

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end project teams comprising of Data Scientists, Product owners and Technical solutions teams.

  • Provide domain insights into available data, identify gaps in existing data set, collaborate with data scientists and other technical solution team to apply various AI techniques in providing technical solutions. Be the expert, translate project requirements to specific available data sources, specify new requirements to Technical solutions team. Work with solution end users to analyze related information to craft & define requirements. Provide expert functional and process guidance on system interface and capabilities.

  • Develop case, drive solution delivery in an agile method, including impact validation approach, return on investment of potential solutions, propose & prioritize projects for implementation.

  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including project sponsors, data owners, technical teams, and end users, to ensure alignment of expectations, deliverables, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Deep business function domain knowledge in HR

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in, Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering related field

  • Passion in AI transformation. Experience in delivering system solutions to HR is a plus.

  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent planning, interpersonal, and time management skills

  • Prior knowledge in data science is helpful but not a pre-requisite

  • Results oriented, with a growth mindset and strong dedication to identify and implement improvement opportunities

  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, influence and manage partners.
