Ryder System Senior Commissions Systems Analyst - REMOTE in Boise, Idaho

Summary

This unique role is responsible for maintaining the newly implemented SAS commission administration system (Varicent ICM) and providing support to the sales organization. The primary functions will relate to supporting the ICM solution to ensure incentive compensation is calculated and reported correctly. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is a quick learner, proactive in solving problems, and has strong communication skills. This role will need to collaborate with team members and other business partners to develop business requirements, implement solutions, make changes to commission plans, design new incentive plans, and develop reports within the commission system.

Essential Functions

  • In-depth understanding of the Lease commission plans/calculations and related data

  • Collaborate with team members and other business partners to determine the best ICM solutions to fulfill commission plan requirements

  • Implement and test commission plan changes as provided by Sales leadership

  • Estimate time/effort to implement changes, facilitate prioritization of work, document decisions, and communicate timelines

  • Communicate/meet with Sales team to explain calculations and answer questions related to commission plan payouts.

  • Document current policies, processes, and procedures

  • Provide ICM training to team members

  • Create/maintain ICM training materials

  • Work with internal and external financial and compliance auditors

  • Leverage continuous improvement practices and techniques to improve processes and solutions

  • Collaborate with IT on designing and implementing data exchanges between other systems (e.g., ERP)

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and capture results to validate functionality changes

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge of relational databases (working knowledge of SQL is preferred)

  • Analytical skills, structured thinking, and methodical problem-solving

  • Project management skills (managing requests for incentive calculation and reporting changes)

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, internal customers, leadership)

  • Ability to interact with external and internal auditors

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Professionally curious and passionate about learning

  • Able to multi-task, highly organized, detailed-oriented and excellent time management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or Engineering

  • Three (3) years or more as a business analyst

  • Three (3) years or more of experience in systems configuration and development

  • Education/experience in accounting/finance preferred

  • Experience working in fast-paced demanding environment

  • Experience providing accounting/finance support to a sales/marketing organization preferred

  • Experience in a large company preferred

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

90,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

100,000.00

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
