St. Luke's Health System Registered Nurse - Cancer Institute, Radiation Oncology (Full-time) in Boise, Idaho

Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute clinics are MAGNET-certified, dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke’s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

What you can expect from this role

  • Full-time (0.9 FTE) - day shift

  • Schedule: 4 days a week x 9-hour shifts per week Friday's off

  • No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays

  • Sign-on bonus & relocation assistance eligible for new hires!

  • Certification pay (ex. OCN)

  • The Primary RN offers medical guidance and education while providing excellent care as an interprofessional team

  • Work closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines

  • Responsible for evaluating patients and assisting the physician with patient care

  • Opportunity to cross train to Rad Onc triage

Minimum qualifications for this role

  • Education: Nursing Degree

  • Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Preferred: Oncology experience
