We are engaged in developing groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions – right from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development, systems design and validation resulting in outstanding memory solutions.

As a Process Engineer in Microns R&D, you will maintain processes by supporting manufacturing, improving process efficiencies, enabling changes in alignment with area BKM’s, correcting process excursions and growing equipment up time and product efficiency.

You will work closely with Semiconductor Process Development and Process Integration engineers and technicians to improve and maintain area processes to meet their critical needs while running and being responsible for progress on critical process related experiments.

This includes:

  • Change process reviews.

  • Some Process ownership.

  • Additionally, you will respond to production issues and implement solutions and work to reduce operating expenses (such as tool efficiency CIP’s or some Equip 2.0 support).

  • You will use statistical process controls and data analysis to support and supervise the performance of processes and tools used to manufacture our innovative designs. A function of that monitoring will be working to identify proactive measures for recipe health and develop health metrics.

  • Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving shifts in SPC from process changes or from equipment-related problems or hardware. In addition to assisting development engineering with projects and solving, you will be the first line of defense to resolve area excursions and line-down issues.

  • Supporting technology deployment efforts which will require becoming acquainted with PMI, PTR, PRISM, PRD’s and TRD’s. Not sure what these are, we would be glad to show you.

  • Shift Left initiatives including Composite Metrology proliferation and Data Analytics Opportunity prioritization.

Education Requirements

MS or BS + 2 years of equivalent process engineering experience preferred

Also willing to work any shift.

Academic Discipline(s): Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related technical field
