The Boise Probe team is looking for an individual to help us lead all aspects of the product data inputs and outputs for our team. This position will benefit from a firm understanding of the Probe data and product tracking environments, and how they interact through the chain. As a Probe Systems Planner, you will develop and refine business processes to facilitate efficient operations and you will collaborate with the Micron network to ensure flawless transitions of products and data.

In this position, you will enable system-level processes, while also performing within the Total Productive Management (TPM) framework. This includes a focus on quality, waste reduction, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cost-reduction. You will also need to demonstrate an eagerness to develop, innovate, and integrate system-level solutions!

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Probe Systems Owner

You will be responsible for the management of product and data quality in the Probe area includes automation, disposition, travelers, offload management, shipping, recipe management, and change control processes.

Enable New Product Introduction

Setup and configure and configure Micron systems to enable the efficient introduction of products.

  • Develop and approve new product flows and transfers.

  • Setting up disposition, attributes, and flows

  • Optimizing flows to improve efficiency and quality.

Inventory Management

Collaboration with Operations teams in managing systems that prioritize Probe inventory, with minimal impediment, and ensuring lots are dispositioned appropriately.

  • Understand customer and partner priorities.

  • Communicate those priorities to the appropriate teams.

  • Work with tactical planning teams to enable optimal product flow.

  • Analyze inventories and collaboratively enable long-term management.

Project Management

Lead various projects and efforts, acting as the key contact responsible to ensure effective communication between various engineering and support teams. Success will require:

  • Collaborate with various teams to understand and accurately set requirements and expectations.

  • Clearly communicating the status and any obstacles.

  • Involvement in all audits.

Provide Development and Mentoring

The position's direct customer/partner interaction will be enabled by:

  • Helping to establish Probe team goals and metrics.

  • Sharing in dialogue on Probe team performance.

  • Providing training to the Probe team and our partners.

Environmental, Health, Safety, Security (EHSS)

You will help to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

  • Observe all established EHSS policies, requirements, and procedures.

  • Follow EHSS guidelines included in work instructions.

  • Report conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHSS policies or procedures.

  • Ability to use standard office tools (MS Office) for communicating status and driving alignment.

  • Curiosity about learning and working in an evolving environment.

  • System-level thinking and demonstration of a growth mentality.

  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing, particularly Probe systems and processes, is helpful.

  • Coding experience especially in Perl will be a plus.

Education

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing, industrial engineering, or project management field is preferred. Exceptions can be made based on appropriate experience.
