What you can expect from this role
Supports the Legal Department's Provider Relations and Litigation team
Performs assignments requiring knowledge and expertise regarding the legal system and substantive and procedural law.
Provides direct assistance to the professional legal staff in the preparation and interpretation of legal documents and filings.
Researches, prepares, and analyzes various legal documents, communications, filings, databases, and reports.
Prepares drafts of contracts related to physician arrangements.
A paralegal in this role will work on complex contracts that require understanding of a complex set of regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate or 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
