Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage Business Processes

  • Keep existing process documentation up to date to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Develop and present process documentation for a new process that is easily understood and can be shared across departments, promoting collaboration and transparency

  • Assess and document current processes including disconnects/gaps and interdependencies, identifying areas for improvement

  • Implement process improvements for the requirements of projects, ensuring flawless execution

  • Clearly communicate process requirements and any impacts to all relevant parties, fostering clarity and alignment.

  • Aid individuals in establishing and implementing a cohesive system and approach for modeling business processes, fostering efficiency and standardization.

  • Prioritize work, focus on results and commit to accountability, ensuring timely delivery of projects

  • Promote partnerships across functional areas and customer groups, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment

  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, with the ability to consistently achieve desired results for the team's success

Customer Service

  • Manage customers' process and system questions via email, phone, or face to face, providing exceptional support and guidance

  • Listen to the customer inquiries with intention and offer suggestions, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively

  • Consistently and timely follow-up with process owner, steward, and individuals involved, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed promptly.

  • Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner, facilitating efficient tracking and resolution of issues

Project Team Member/Manager

  • Participate in a project core team to deliver the process development or improvements, contributing to the successful execution of projects

  • Facilitate a core team as a project manager to deliver the business process deliverables, ensuring efficient coordination and collaboration among team members

  • Present to project/process sponsors and coalitions on progress or achievements, effectively communicating project updates and successes

  • Help troubleshoot issues that require immediate attention, identifying and prioritizing them for resolution to ensure successful project completion.

  • Maintain customer focus and commit to results, delivering projects that meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with individuals both within and outside the organization, promoting strong relationships and collaboration.

Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • Leverage business process improvement techniques to elicit, analyze, and document business processes or new feature requirements for implementation, ensuring the development of efficient and effective solutions

  • Develop a greater understanding of the business units, processes, and interconnections to system-level processes that OCT partners with to improve efficiencies, enabling strategic decision-making

  • Foster alignment and collaboration by promoting a shared understanding of scope, requirements, problems/opportunities among all involved parties.

  • Help define metrics & measurement information to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Help identify solutions and recommendations to increase accuracy and efficiency, contributing to the optimization of business processes

  • Effectively communicate abilities and limitations to ensure that the expectations of all parties involved are met, setting practical goals and ensuring successful execution.

Required:

Education Bachelor’s Degree in related field of engineering, business, or sciences

Professional Development

  • Experience as a "skilled professional", demonstrating proven expertise in business process analysis and improvement

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Proficiency, enabling efficient documentation and analysis

  • Strong understanding of how the business and its processes contribute to organizational success

  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Operations, or Engineering

  • Experience with Visio, Symbio or other process mapping tools

  • A professional certification such as BPM, DMAIC or Introduction to Project Management
