ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The ISG Customer Service Liaison is responsible for connecting, forwarding requests, and assisting clients whose primary service is completed by a carrier service center. They are the person responsible for connecting our clients with the service centers for quick, friendly and immediate assistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Forward all written and verbal request to the service center for the following:

  • Billing questions, change requests, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders and cancellation forms, policies, coverage questions, audit disputes

  • Reviews for accuracy change received or downloaded into the agency management system

  • Participates in the renewal preparation being sure that all accounts are renewed by the carrier. Sends all updates from the client to the carrier for processing.

  • Provides quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers

  • Communicates with company personnel regarding the client’s needs and/or issues

  • Maintains an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response

  • Fields phone calls from insureds regarding questions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations etc.

  • Responsible for scanning communications and documents

  • Input/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as required

  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor

  • Prepares and coordinates all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for accounts, including but not limited to:

  • Applications

  • billing

  • policies

  • certificates of insurance

  • endorsements

  • invoices

  • proposals for new and renewal accounts

  • change request

  • endorsements

  • audits

  • annual reviews

  • cancellations

Work experience requirements

  • At least two years of insurance experience strongly preferred

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills

  • Proven ability of working in a successful team environment

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization

  • Applied Agency Management System (Epic) experience preferred but not required

Licensing or certification Requirements

Montana State P & C Insurance Producer License Required
