Block 22 L L C GH Suite Bartender in Boise, Idaho

As a Suite Bartender, you will be bartending primarily at a service well during Idaho Central Arena events. Events include Steelheads games, Front Street Fights, Concerts, and other special events. You will be responsible for fulfilling all beverage orders rung in by the suite serving team. You\'ll also be responsible for accurately pre-organizing and fulfilling all in suite beverage catering orders prior to the event. This is a very fast paced beverage service and hospitality environment. Must maintain a full stock of liquor, beer, wine, sliced garnishes, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other bar accessories behind the bar throughout the event. Keep the bar area clean, safe and organized. Must be comfortable and familiar making both standard and unique drinks. Therefore must have experience using a wide range of ingredients such as various liquors, sodas, numerous mixers, bitters and fruits. Efficiently yet not wastefully pour draft beer and wine. Prioritize/organize server drink tickets in the order you receive them. Effectively and tactfully communicate with serving staff to prevent or problem solve any potential mistakes. Ensure all modified tickets are prepared properly and to the guest\'s specifications. Always presents a positive attitude towards all team members and guests. Complete all closing/cleaning duties. Complete all closing/cleaning duties near the end of the event.

  • Must be able work Wednesday, Friday, & Saturdays (start time varies between 3 PM 5 PM)
  • Must be TIPS certified
  • Must have at least 2 years bartending experience
  • Position is a service well bartender
  • Ability to keep drink tickets organized
  • Alcohol awareness
  • Works well in a fast pace environment
  • Maintain full knowledge of the drink menu
  • Setup/tear down of bar before and after each event
  • Prior to each event ensure bar is fully stocked as needed
  • Ability to setup/move portable keg units
  • Ensures all beverage pre-orders are fulfilled prior to event
  • Effectively and tactfully communicate with serving staff and management
  • 1 hour of bar closing/cleaning duties after each event
