The primary purpose of the position is the coordination of collaborative efforts of the Student Conduct program. The goal of the program is the retention, persistence and graduation of students through responding to and managing student behavior. The position also supports the administrative and adjudication functions as they intersect with the Housing and Residence Life program.

The position administratively supports the student conduct program and adjudicates high level misconduct that may result in suspension or expulsion of a student and/or removal from residence halls.

Level Scope:

Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of operational or technical employees. Sets and delegates day-to-day tasks to achieve operational objectives. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the unit; however, supervisory activities must constitute a primary part of the job. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or campus policies, procedures, and defined internal controls. Problems typically involve a single area, process or constituent group. Ensures accountability and stewardship of campus resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental standards and procedures

Essential Functions:

60% of Time the Conduct Process Coordinator must:

  • Manage operation and access to student conduct systems, including Advocate, Everfi, Blackboard, eCHECKUP, Qualtrics, Google Drive.
  • Manage student conduct E-mail account.
  • Forward submitted sanctions to the appropriate hearing office.
  • Upload submissions to Advocate.
  • Response to student inquiries.
  • Review daily security reports received and file or route as appropriate.
  • Coordinate alcohol/drug sanction modules; assign and verify completion of Incoming first year students alcohol/Title IX training modules.
  • Produce monthly and annual data reports for Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Programs.
  • Respond to inquiries including public background checks and internal requests for conduct information on students.
  • Plan and facilitate educational programming for students.
  • Assist in developing and facilitating conduct training with campus partners involved in the student conduct process including Housing & Residence Life staff and Conduct Board members.

35% of the Time the Position must perform:

  • Project Management:
    • Process and analyze data to produce reports about conduct programs for internal and external partners
    • Provide grant management support
    • Manage operation and access to student conduct systems, including Advocate, Vector Solutions, Qualtrics, Google Drives

5% of Time the Position must:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Abi ity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and the general public.
  • Experience operating computers and business-related software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Knowledge of how to interpret and apply the rules, regulations, and policies governing registration and admissions and other functions assigned.
  • Skilled in gathering data for and preparing reports.

Minimum

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master\'s preferred. 2 years relevant experience. Salary and Benefit
