North Atlantic Industries Intern HR Administrator in Bohemia, New York

Provide administrative and organizational support to Human Resources processes, procedures, and functions. Develop skills for a career in Human Resources.

Requirements Essential Role and Responsibilities:

Conduct online research for various HR initiatives. Support recruitment process. Draft offer letters. Support onboarding of new hires and requests for required documentation. Create and forward electronic drug screen documentation and audit results. Support Internship Program and related events and onboarding. Intern training and partnering.. Assist with event planning of HR sponsored events. Make suggestions for process improvements and SOP development. Data review and organization for Affirmative Action reporting. Assist Human Resources with various Benefits renewal projects. Reconcile monthly insurance invoices. Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources Management. Ability to maintain professional integrity and confidentiality on all matters. Discretion dealing with company associates, executive leadership, vendors and managers. Detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication and follow up skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Willingness to take direction, be flexible and work as part of a team. Computer Skills - MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
