Ready to innovate together? In this position you will validate and coordinate the consolidation of all financial & demand projections for Region North, including LRP, Plan, Update and monthly actuals, LBE’s / S&OP’s. Moreover, a key responsibility of this position will be identifying, evaluating and leading regional projects that require financial analysis in order to provide value added to the Commercial Areas and to be presented for Area approval, in order to improve Affiliates profitability across the region. This position will partner with the Cluster North Affiliate Management Team to assist and take position into critical business decision making. The individual must attain a strong knowledge of the business, and will collaborate with the functional Controller to effectively communicate key financial information across a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management. This role reports to the Finance Director Cluster North.

Major Responsibilities:

· Leadership of the Plan/Update/LBE/LRP/ Demand and S&OP preparation processes, analytical review of related deliverables with the functional Controller, and presentation of results to financial, business operations and senior management teams.

· Leadership in partnering with Commercial Areas in identifying, evaluating Regional Projects that require financial analysis, to ensure profitability and drive margin optimization (e.g. new product development analysis, product portfolio analysis, expense/investment analysis, profitability of new opportunities, revenue commercial models and profit margin analysis).

· Assure accuracy and standard processes on each of the Affiliates Projections among the Region, as well as consolidating Financial Projections such as: PLN & LRP, Update, LBE´s, ADS, S&OP’s, Demand and other Regional Reports.

· Development/ongoing enhancement of expense and headcount forecasting models to support planning and LBE projections for a dynamic, high growth and optimization.

· Interaction with Market Access, R&D, and Business Operations teams, in order to address and resolve financial issues impacting the business.

· Collaboration with AREA Finance & Demand teams in order to provide all financial information regarding Region North, as well as LATAM affiliate finance personnel in multiple countries, applying analytical skills in optimizing the OUS financial planning, demand and actuals processes.

· Maintenance of accurate financial reporting data in SAP, TM1, JDA and other financial systems.

· Analyze financial and sales performance against key business metrics in order to assure accuracy and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.

· Providing guidance and coaching to direct reports, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

· Identify, monitor and develop individuals throughout the finance function to build an experienced team with the capability of succeeding to new and greater responsibilities and assuring execution of growth plans.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years combined experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, cost accounting, or auditing is required.

· BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Industrial Engineer.

· CPA / MBA is preferred but not required.

· Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial audiences.

· Strong interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills.

· Fully fluent in English (written, oral and reading skills) are a priority.

· Work history reflecting application of analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.

· Experience with SAP and TM1 systems preferred but not required.
