We are searching for the best talent for Talent Acquisition Sr Manager – Early in Career to be in Sao Paulo, Bogotá or Mexico City

As a member of the global Talent Acquisition – Early in Career Leadership team the Sr, Manager Talent Acquisition – EIC, will provide a high level of consultative leadership to implement both campus and early talent strategies in the region. This person will partner closely with business leaders, HR, and Talent Acquisition to create and implement highly differentiated strategies that ensures J&J is attracting, assessing and acquiring top talent in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, develop, and manage high-performing team of Early in Career recruiters

  • Shape and deliver an end-to-end Early in Career strategy for the region that creates a best-in-class experience for all Early in Career hires

  • Proactively establish relationships with regional professional affiliations and student groups to increase the diversity of the talent pipeline

  • Manage key vendor partnerships

  • Serve a Mentor, coach, guide and influence while serving as a trusted adviser to internal Hiring leaders, LDP Program Managers HR and Talent Leads on our campus strategy and diversity efforts unique to their respective groups for the Region and the Sector

  • Assess recruiter capacity, team bandwidth, reporting metrics, analyze trends

  • Support Early Talent leadership by managing program governance, utilizing their project management skills to provide leadership to plan and manage projects.

  • Collaborate with other peers and stakeholders to develop new and / or amend existing Early Talent programs. Utilize Internship expertise and external market insights in areas of design and development of early talent engagement programs.

  • Establish, communicate, and maintain global / regional / local Internship policies, processes and operational guidelines.

  • Manage expenses and provide input into budget/resource allocation needs, and the management of costs

  • Conduct routine internal analysis and external benchmarking to enhance the effectiveness of Early in Career hiring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, Post Graduate Degree (Masters, equivalent) preferred

  • A minimum of 9 years professional experience with at least 4 years in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or in a related field of work is required

  • 2 years of people leadership is required

  • Strong leadership skills: operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences is a must

  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience (e.g., project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk management plans, milestones, deliverable charts); demonstrated capability to lead and manage projects is required

  • Demonstrated success working in the University/Early in Career space is strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of TA laws and regulations in multiple countries is preferred

  • Strong digital skills preferred

  • Experience building trust and credibility with internal stakeholders in a matrixed/global environment is required Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and is preferred

  • Proficiency in English is required along with strong presentation skills; can speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audience both internal to J&J and external is strongly preferred

  • Global experience/mindset is strongly preferred; experience supporting TA or HR projects across multiple countries/regions is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience translating HR or Talent Acquisition strategies into regional solutions that consider global business drivers (e.g., organizational functions, regulatory, legal, economic conditions) is preferred

  • Expertise leveraging internal and external analytics to diagnose situations and build business cases for global solutions; Identifies designs and leads studies that inform talent decisions is preferred

  • Experience developing enterprise-wide strategies in partnership with stakeholders to attract employees in an integrated manner, driving regional/global business results is strongly preferred

  • Heavy travel required during peak on-campus seasons
