IQVIA Manager, Clinical Data Management in Bogota, Colombia
Job Overview
Manage and support a team of Data Management professionals to produce databases that meet customer requirements. This role will serve as a people leader and also work as a Project Manager in clinical data management projects.
Essential Functions
Review and guide Data Management deliverables (CRF/e-CRF, database design, validation, Data Management Plan).
Provide technical advice and solutions to internal and external customers.
Ensure staff training and compliance with procedures and project scope.
Identify and address staff development needs; mentor team members.
Provide operational input into proposals and participate in proposal defenses.
Hold bi-monthly meetings with direct reports to discuss project status, timelines, financials, risks, and training.
Develop and implement plans to improve employee engagement.
Collaborate with project leads on scheduling, staffing, and technological needs.
Communicate effectively between leadership and teams.
Serve as a substitute or ensure coverage during staff absences.
Participate in Bid Defenses, Kick-off Meetings, and support RFI/RFP and budgets.
Support internal and external audits and inspections.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
7 years of relevant experience in Clinical Data Management, including people management.
Advanced level of English
Advanced knowledge of Data Management processes and systems.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Effective mentoring and coaching skills.
Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
