Paramount HR Professional - Live Action Feature Film Production (Contract) in Bogota, Colombia

Summary

Paramount Pictures is seeking an adventurous HR professional to join our team in supporting an upcoming live-action feature film shooting in Colombia. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the production while experiencing the beauty and culture of Colombia.

This successful individual will report to the Production HR lead located in Miami and function as on-set HR support working closely with various production professionals, including directors, producers, department heads, and external vendors to resolve personnel issues and maintain compliance with relevant labor laws and industry standards.

Responsibilities (include/but not limited to):

  • Collaborates with onsite and remote production leadership to ensures prompt and on-time delivery of HR resources and solutions. Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

  • Provides advocacy, guidance, and hands-on support to minor talent and minor parent/guardian.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for all employee relations matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for cast and crew alike. Formulates thoughtful HR solutions that help the production run efficiently and smoothly.

  • Demonstrates a fair and balanced approach to employees and management; develops a reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional serving all cast and crew mediating routine to complex employee relations and/or other interactions.

  • Escalates and monitors employee interactions to ensure minimal disruptions and negative employee experiences.

Experience and Expertise:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in employee relations, with a proven track record of success in fostering positive work cultures.

  • Previous experience in film/TV production or a similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is a significant asset, enabling the successful candidate to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce and navigate cultural nuances with ease.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
