U.S. Marine Corps FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Boeblingen, Germany

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the U.S. MARINE COPRS FORCES EUROPE AND AFRICA (MARFOREUR/AF), DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY (DON) in BOEBLINGEN, GERMANY. Responsibilities You will audit examinations, remediation and financial systems. You will develop and formulate budget request. You will coordinate and provide input to contracted initiatives via the Regional Contracting Office (RCO). You will advise staff on the status and availability of fund in various budget accounts and other applicable budget processes. You will identify, define, develop and/or recommend systems or procedures to implement the financial management process. You will review estimates submitted by program managers. You will be responsible for ensuring obligations, expenditures, transfers of funds, and similar budgetary transactions are recorded and accounted for. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, formulating budget requests and maintaining budget accounts for the command. 2) Ensuring obligations, expenditures, transfer of funds, and other budgetary transactions are recorded and accounted for. 3) Providing oversight and training on financial resource accountability 4) Reviewing estimates submitted by program managers for compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures. 5) Identifying, defining, developing, and/or recommending systems or procedures to implement the financial management processes. Education Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
