Job Description:

For a Project in Sweden we are looking for an Area Manager to join our team. In this position you will provide the essential project support, including but not limited to, the points listed below.

• Develop and implement a safety and security program for all company personnel and contractors as well as establish procedures to monitor the overall site safety program

• Oversee and direct all activity in strict adherence to requirements of the company Quality Program

• Maintain a continuous and focused effort to execute all activity according to the as-sold basis for all of the baseline documents, including regular reporting to senior management on the status thereof

• Assure that all forecasts and progress reporting is accurate and timely

• Manage and promote optimum communication and activity in the interests of client and community relations; serve as the lead company representative to establish and maintain a harmonious relationship with the local community and associated stakeholders

• Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback

• Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations

• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action

• Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines

• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards

• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job

• May need to travel to attend to business related matters

• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

• Other duties as assigned
