Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in Boca Raton, Florida. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading our team and directly engaging with clients in a key role within the financial consulting sector. The role involves managing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, driving business growth, improving processes, and supervising staff at all levels.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead our team and engage directly with clients
• Review corporate, personal, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Drive business growth and ensure we are achieving all directives
• Improve both internal and external processes
• Supervise staff at all levels and be part of the strategic development team
• Communicate with employees to provide feedback on their work product, manage their objectives and performances
• Communicate with clients to review their financials, provide tax planning, resolve outstanding items, and assist in any other areas requested
• Mentor team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels
• Help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during the course of business
• Play an integral role in the continued strategic growth of the firm, including software implementation, internal procedures, client interaction procedures, and other strategic growth areas. Requirements • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online is essential for this role.
• Strong knowledge of C Corp is required.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax Returns is necessary.
• Familiarity with Corporate Income Tax is a must.
• Proficiency in IRS Tax matters is necessary.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Multi-state Tax Returns is required.
• Knowledge of Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is essential.
• Familiarity with Ultratax CS is a must.
• Full Charge Bookkeeping skills are required.
• The ability to provide Direct Supervision is necessary.
• Prior experience in Supervising is essential for this position.
