Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator role in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is crucial to our IT infrastructure team, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our software, hardware, and networks. Your contributions will directly impact the development and delivery of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security for all workstations and servers.

• Implement, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, networking devices, and storage systems.

• Administer network operations, including LAN/WAN hardware/software, connectivity, and security, ensuring seamless network availability.

• Develop and enforce policies for system security, internet protocols, and firewall configurations to protect sensitive data and secure against unauthorized access.

• Provide high-level technical support across the organization, resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime. This includes regular system maintenance and emergency response for critical incidents.

• Evaluate and install necessary software and hardware upgrades to enhance system performance and expand capabilities.

• Utilize advanced monitoring tools to oversee system performance and anticipate potential issues before they escalate.

• Manage backup processes and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability in all scenarios.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems architecture, procedures, and policies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Work closely with IT and development teams to streamline operations. Provide training and guidance to staff on IT best practices and system usage.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Dell Workstations, Windows Workstation, Workstation Hardware, Workstation Support, LAN - Local Area Network, WAN Technologies, MCSA, Linux. Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in IT

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Familiarity with Database management and Dell Technologies

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Experience with Linux Technologies

• Proficiency in Active Directory and Backup Technologies

• Understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Experience with Deployments and Dell Workstations

• Familiarity with Windows Workstation, Workstation Hardware, and Workstation Support

• Knowledge of LAN - Local Area Network and WAN Technologies

• MCSA certification is a plus

• Proficiency in Linux operations and configuration Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
