Description

We are in search of a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate Development industry located in Boca Raton, Florida. This role includes responsibilities such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and managing bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and provide accurate customer credit records

• Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Operate NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Yardi for various accounting functions

• Respond to customer credit inquiries and resolve any issues

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments

• Support the team in additional accounting duties as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Skill in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Fixed assets, prepaids, accrual based accounting

• Financial statement preparation

• Experience in Month End Close operations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in the real estate industry

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of the latest accounting rules and regulations

• CPA certification preferred but not required.
