ModMed (https://www.modmed.com/company/) is hiring a driven Product Launch Director to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Product Management team. The Product Launch Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful introduction of ModMed products and services into the market. This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and meticulous execution to ensure product launches meet their objectives and align with the company's overall goals and stakeholders’ expectations. The Product Launch Director is the accountable steward of ModMed’s go-to-market operational readiness for product launches, reporting to the Chief Product Officer.

Your Role:

  • Develop Comprehensive Launch Plans:

  • Create detailed product launch plans that outline objectives, strategies, timelines, and budgets.

  • Ensure all launch activities are aligned with the company's strategic goals and market demands.

  • Understand operational dependencies (e.g. pricing, SKUs, go/no-go milestones, legal review, compliance signoff) to establish realistic goals and timelines.

  • Establish standardized processes and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in launch activities.

  • Cross-functional Relationship Building & Coordination:

  • Maintain constant alignment between product, marketing, and sales.

  • Collaborate with product management, general managers, marketing, sales, customer success, digital experience, and the business development, strategy & operations teams to ensure seamless execution of launch plans and address potential roadblocks.

  • Ensure effective Sales and Customer Success training and readiness to create confidence in selling, onboarding, and supporting the products.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of product launch professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and support team members in achieving their goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement and seek constant stakeholder feedback to maximize the effectiveness of the launch team.

  • Performance Monitoring and Adjustment:

  • Monitor the performance of product launches through key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback.

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of all stakeholders and teams against their launch plan commitments.

  • Analyze post-launch data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to strategies and plans.

  • Create, document, and continuously refine best practices for product launches.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches.

  • Proactively address issues that may impact the launch timeline or objectives.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with senior management and other stakeholders regarding launch progress and outcomes.

  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations on launch activities and performance.

  • Chair a regular launch review meeting with senior executive stakeholders to create transparency and facilitate prioritization decisions at the highest levels.

    Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to work onsite in our Boca Raton, FL headquarters required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software or SaaS product management, marketing, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Track record of successfully launching software products in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience building and running successful product launch teams, ideally in Healthcare Technology.

  • Project Management:

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven record managing multiple simultaneous launch projects across multiple launch managers.

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

  • Leadership and Communication:

    • Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading launch teams to success.
  • Superior communication skills and experience taking complex launch information and turning it into easy-to-understand updates for senior executive teams.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage high-stress situations across a large group of stakeholders.

  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving:

  • High level of strategic thinking to develop and execute effective launch plans.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles proactively.

  • Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Ability to translate market insights and stakeholder feedback into actionable launch strategies.

  • Experience launching proprietary products as well as partner/white-labeled solutions.

  • Experience with launching products in the Healthcare market is desired.

  • Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and make informed decisions.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
